The final completed video delivered to Capgemini. To learn more about my workflow process, please continue reading below.
The project started with a script provided by the creative director at Capgemini along with a rough storyboard of the video.
I refined the storyboard in Adobe Illustrator and prepare the visual assets to be used in Adobe After Effects. This stage of the process also presents an opportunity to plan and divide the whole animation into separate scenes to make it more manageable during the animation production.
Once the storyboard was approved, I then proceeded to create an animatic video (animated static images) based on the storyboard to plan out the timing and audio synchronization. This is also the point where I define the motion of transitions into each scene. The above example is just a small portion of the animatic.
The process of creating the actual visual assets now begins at this stage. Some of the assets were created in a 3D application to leverage the ability to explore various compositions to tell a more accurate story.
