PS3: My spider sense is tingling
Is it me or Sony is actually using the font from Spiderman as the logotype for Playtation 3? I wonder what happen to their previous logo which is much more edgy and appealing.

I instantly thought the same thing as soon as I saw it.
Don;t know about the rest of the world but in Australia they advertised the c#$p of of Spider-man 2; maybe they are hoping to cash in on the subliminal links.
Not a whole lot of Spiderman marketing campaigns going on here in the states unlike Australia. However, you may be right on that... Spiderman is Sony's big cash cow and it's only fitting that they make some sort of association somehow. It's kind of sad though that the accounting department has to step in and influence the design.
